Our programs for youth focus on fostering confidence, curiosity, and foundational skills. Through scholarships and partnerships, we open doors to pre-vocational experiences that prepare young people for the next step in their journey.

We collaborate with local businesses to provide supported employment opportunities where teens and young adults can grow and thrive. With coaching and tailored support, participants gain meaningful work experiences that lead to independence and purpose.

Led by our advocacy team, this program empowers autistic individuals to share their stories, build leadership skills, and shape the future for themselves and others.

Our programs offer 1:1 support for individuals of all abilities. We shape programming around our team members unique interests and goals.
We host multiple community events throughout the year including our annual Fall Fest and Donuts With Santa events. Our events all families of all backgrounds and abilities to attend purposeful and meaningful community events.
It is our goal to foster and encourage autonomy in our team members. It’s important for our team members to find their own purpose and voice in society.
BEST means a lot to me and I’ve learned problem solving and how to be a good listener while at work.
My son has been working with BEST for 2 years and it has been a wonderful program for him transitioning after high school. He has gained so much experience, confidence, teamwork, skills, and new experiences. He has been able to try different jobs and recognize his strengths and weaknesses and build his confidence. BEST staff have helped not only with employment and volunteer opportunities but also how to work through job situations and difficulties on the job. It is truly an amazing program!
B.E.S.T. has been wonderful for my son! They have given him the opportunity to work several different types of jobs–with a job coach to help along the way! B.E.S.T. has been understanding, patient, and kind ALWAYS! He has learned many skills through his jobs with B.E.S.T. It has also helped his confidence and independence. They are always encouraging him to grow and try new things. We think B.E.S.T. is the BEST!
